Impressed by Humility
What a pleasant surprise to glance through the Fall 2007 issue of
Priority! and see an article featuring Major Thomas Mack. Growing up, I was privileged to attend the Hempstead Citadel Corps, and Major Mack was, in fact, all the article proclaims—and more! He was always a quiet, humble man who was willing to go out of his way for the youth. In fact, after I went to Asbury College, he continued to encourage me with a handwritten note or a solo he had written that would fit my voice. Just recently, I called on him to write a band arrangement (using a tune I had written) for the dedication of our new corps building in Lawrenceville, Ga., and even though he is a very busy man, he took the time to do it. Major Mack is a servant and a role model and I am a life that has been blessed by his ministry. Thank you for taking the time to showcase true heroes of the faith!

Loving the ARC
I’ve read the article in Priority! [“Presentations in Pastel,” Fall 2007] .… The best part is not because it’s about me, but that it provides a way for me to express to those who may read it the love I have for the ARCs and the work being done there. I’m “proud” to be a part of such a great organization and ministry.

24/7 Issue Inspiration
Your testimonies are heart–inspiring as I read about God–honoring commitments to Him in prayer—how He touches the hearts of faithful long–term servants as well as reveals Himself supernaturally to the weak. God is moving strong in your midst.
We had the rare privilege of stumbling upon a Boiler Room in Kansas City, Mo. We attended their Sunday night service at the suggestion of my daughter (a recent art graduate moving to KC). There were many young hearts on fire (filled with passion) for Jesus in the meeting.…
I found this website [www.prioritypeople.org] while searching for information on the Boiler Room in hopes of discovering some of its roots and beliefs. I was pleasantly surprised.
Where there is vision, expression, freedom, and creativity being birthed in the “Boiler Room” of prayer, the Glory of God will break forth in revelations of Him we have never seen before. (John 14:12)

Connection to a Friend
I was delighted and inpired after reading your articles via the Internet [www.prioritypeople.org]. What thrilled me most was seeing the picture of Sergei Katchanov, my old time friend [Summer 2006]
Sergei is one of the people who influenced my good Christian conduct when I was a student of fine arts at the Moscow State Academic Art Institute. He was very good to me.

Correction
In “There but for God’s Grace,” Fall 2007, one paragraph stated that as a young man, Jesus Trejo found himself with sole custody of his brother’s children, Antonio and Christina, after his brother died. Antonio and Christina are Jesus’ children.
