What An Affiliate Link Is

An affiliate link is a tracked link to a retailer. If you click it and then buy something, the retailer credits us with a small percentage of the sale as a referral fee. You pay exactly the same price as you would going to the retailer directly — the commission comes out of the retailer’s margin, not your wallet.

What Commissions Do Not Buy

This is the part that matters most:

How Recommendations Are Actually Made

Our picks come from the research process described in our Editorial Policy: specification comparison, analysis of verified owner feedback and long-term reliability reports, hands-on or expert input where available, and value assessed against real street prices. Where we get something wrong, we fix it publicly under our Corrections Policy.
